Welcome/Failte!

Tim has been out in Canada from east to west coast this last 2 weeks performing at the prestigious Celtic Colours festival in Cape Breton as a special guest in the headline opening arena show with Ashley MacIssac, Phamie How & The Chieftains.

Other notable shows were with JP Cormier where in Membertou JP & Tim basically played the entire set of their new album "Once" live on the web to the amazement of fans!

Tim and the legendary Scottish accordionist Phil Cunningham played numerous slow air impromptu sessions around the festival in vans, festival club, festival office & more to the delight of all that witnessed it.

Tim also fulfilled a long time bucket list of performing a special set of French Canadian reels with the award winning band from the island Coig, then playing both solo and with Cape Breton fiddle star Rosie Mackenzie.

Then flying out west to join the queen of the fiddle Natalie MacMaster for a selected few shows to promote her new album "Sketches" which Tim plays a huge part on, even co-arranging & writing with Natalie on some pieces.

Along with Natalie's oldest daughter musical prodigy Mary Frances and Irish/Toronto drum Mark "professor" Kelso they played all over Alberta, BC and Sasketoon to sold out theatre crowds.

"Being myself" - Tim's latest recording and the most organic and honest recording he has done to date again showing his incredible multi-instrumental talent playing everything bar percussion on the record!.... 54 minutes of pure listening joy engineered & produced by Robin Wynn Evans (Sam Brown, DODGY, Manic street preachers, The view)

Featuring new recording's of original pieces with Tim's melodeon coming again to the fore... opening the record with a wild box-guitar duet with himself of Gerry "banjo" O'Connor's "Niamh's capers" after many years of mainly playing his trademark guitar style this as it did with his 2001 debut album "Daybreak" again shows Tim's sheer & original virtuosity on the humble diatonic 2 row box, plus two new vocal tracks Buddy MacDonald's classic anthem "Nobody home" with guest appearance by Scottish singer Isobel Crowe, and Enda McCabe's beautiful new song "what a way to say goodbye".

Visiting jazz for Gershwin's "They can't take that away from you"... to Scotland's highlands for "Eagle's whistle" & Father Angus MacDonnell featuring Tim on grand piano, with a  trip to Shetland & Newcastle via Nashville showing the clear connection of trad tunes in Bluegrass music.
